We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

The location is very quiet. We had an issue with the shower that I messaged the host and someone was knocking at the door to fix it within 15 minutes in the middle of a snow storm at 8:30pm so that was really amazing. There was also oil and salt & pepper we used for cooking which most places don’t provide. The man that came to fix our shower also came in the mornings to shovel the snow off the porch and make a pathway to our car. Highly recommend this place !
