Dinner and breakfast were excellent - do not forget to try the Geysir Bread! The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. A big tanks to Georgiana who helped me get back my scarf that I forgot in the room. Wished we could have stayed there longer.

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. It offers horse riding during the summer season, traditional cooking and a geothermal outdoor hot tub. Great remote location, saw northern lights while our stay here. The restaurant was good, food was delicious. Fun for children as there cows, and friendly dog on the farm.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

Our 3 year old son is normally scared of dogs but he loved Mowi and Katla. He played every day with them. The dogs are so friendly to childeren and we enjoyed their company so much. The house was very clean and had all the comforts. The hot tub was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped and the two showers were very much appreciated. Would come again.
