The cottage was very comfortable, warm, enough space inside and lots of space outside. Our son enjoyed playing with the dogs. Remote so good for Northern lights viewing (no light pollution). Close to Golden circle sights. I wish we were staying longer. The kitchen had everything necessary to prepare some dinner and breakfast (there is nothing close by, 20min to Selfoss).

The room and washroom were really clean, it had a nice lavender scent. The kitchen is full equipped with stove, mini fridge, sink, microwave oven, pots and pans, cutlery, dinnerware and kitchen utensils. The access to the room is really convenient, the host will message the access code to the front door. Only thing to take into consideration, if you need to get groceries, to need to drive to Selfoss or to Fludir. If you're lucky as we were, this is the perfect place to watch the Auroras. Parking is free.
