The host was very responsive whenever we reached out for any assistance. Although we did not check in early but they accommodated our request when we raised one. Kirkjufell's view from one of the rooms is just out of this world! Totally recommended. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The hotel is really cozy, clean, new, staff is nice, the beds are super comfortable and the breakfast was incredible. Definitely recommend!

This cozy place had everything we needed for a perfect stay - warm, immaculate, and thoughtfully equipped. Beautiful scenery right outside the window, and the landlord was wonderfully kind. It felt like a home away from home.

Its location was wonderful and a great base for us to explore the peninsula. We hope that when we go to Iceland in the future, we can stay here again. The house was so inviting and comfortable. The beds were incredible! We loved walking around Stykkishólmur; the walk up to the beacon was great and the view breathtaking. We even saw the Northern Lights while there. The host was extremely attentive and responded quickly to any questions we asked. What a find, this house in Stykkishólmur!

My group of 6 friends loved it with its games, sitting area, and big windows. Nice view of the surroundings (farmland), feels like in the middle of nowhere. There were many rooms available to sleep in. Kitchen was fully functional with a view. 2 toilets but one bath only.

Property was on the way to Snaefellsjokull National Park fairly well situated for a first night stop after morning arrival in Reykjavik. No restaurants in immediate area, so either dine as you drive through Borgarnes or some place closer to the park. Beautiful views.
