The host is incredibly helpful, we checked in late and he gave me a very detailed instructions to let us in and it was very smooth, and we also checked out early which is also no problem. The view is amazing, you can see the main church thru the balcony especially at night. We had a short stay but a memorable one.

This is one of the most unique hotels we have ever stayed in - I would highly recommend Aquatio. You are within 5 minutes walking distance to pretty much anything in Matera and 2-3 minutes walk to the fabulous restaurant Francesca (we dined there twice it was so fantastic). We also used the spa to get a couples massage and my partner used the water therapies. The front desk staff were fantastic before and during our stay - they really helped us to arrange parking, the shuttle to and from the hotel to our parking spot and other requests we had like booking restaurants for us. A true concierge experience! You will thoroughly enjoy your stay. We will be back!

Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Agriturismo Nonna Rosa is set in Matera, 12 minutes' drive from the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fantastic agriturismo in a wonderful location. Excellent breakfast, quiet environment. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Offering free parking and free Wi-Fi, the modern Bhotel features a large garden with a tennis court. It is located in the Basilicata town of Lagonegro, just off the A3 motorway exit. If you are travelling on the A22 and require a night rest, this is the ideal place to stay, just few meters off the motorway. Very good pizza and restaurant available on site. Good breakfast and large parking available behind the hotel with electric charging ports. Been recently upgrade to very modern facilities. Highly recommend this place.

Every corner feels special, and it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit, take it all in, and enjoy the magical ambience. The location is perfect for exploring Matera, and the valet service made everything effortless. We left our car at their partner parking and were picked up directly, which made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. Even though the hotel is relatively new, it feels like it has been welcoming guests for many years. That is a true credit to the management and the entire team, who were warm, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was romantic and unforgettable. Relais & Châteaux should be very proud to have Vetera Matera in their collection. We are already looking forward to coming back and cannot recommend it highly enough.
