This 5-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.1 km from Kenrokuen Garden. Hotel - very nice layout. The best of our trip. Room was very spacious, especially for Japan. Staff were very professional and helpful - booking reservations for us (recommended with the better restaurants in the area). Location - walking distance to most sites. Very short walk to the market. A bit of a walk from the train station but certainly doable for most people. Bed was large and comfortable, and room was quiet. Bonus - laundry facilities, and a first for me, you could monitor the 4 washing machines on the floor below with your TV! Love Japan!

Fuji Gran Villa - TOKI - is set in Fujiyoshida, 4.7 km from Lake Kawaguchi, 22 km from Mount Fuji, as well as 2.9 km from Oshijuutaku Togawa and Osano’s House. The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is 600 metres from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice place for group good place to stay

Located at 13-minute walk from Nagoya Station, Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower offers free WiFi throughout the hotel. Shared parking is available on site for a fee. The 24 hour front desk offers free luggage storage service as well as concierge service for guests' convenience. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, we felt like VIPs. The staff were exceptional, the room was large, clean and quiet, and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had Club Lounge access, which was a slice of heaven. The hotel was in walking distance to Nagoya Station as well for all our transportation needs. This hotel checked all the boxes and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 5 km from Lake Kawaguchi, La Vista Fujikawaguchiko features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The property is around 7.3 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 28 km from Mount Fuji and 1.5 km from Kawaguchi Asama Shrine. The accommodation offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. Everything was just right. The onsen, the room size, decor, bathtub, all the facilities were really appreciable.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. This is a delightful guesthouse, only a short walk from the bus station. Loved the common areas - it was nice to have a kitchen with tables. Our room had traditional Japanese beds on the floor and tatami matting, which the kids loved.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.

Exceptional property and well worth what we paid for it. Amazing views from the onsen (public and shared with other hotel guests, but both times we used it there was nobody there. Quite a private experience and it was great to watch the sun set!) The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and the experience was one we’ll never forget. The staff picked us up at Kawaguchiko station and brought our bags straight to our room after check in. We enjoyed the tea and snack while soaking in the views.10/10 would visit again!

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths.

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. Its so nice and clean. All the ryokan style logding one could hope for. Excellent.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. The hostel offers hot-spring baths, free Wi-Fi and 3 lounges. We keep coming back. The building has a great atmosphere, very welcoming. Very helpful personal. Spotlessly clean. And the onsen is great for soaking away jetlag. Close enough to Hakone for a daytrip.
