So tidy organised and functional Lovely bath Delicious breakfast. Has Had sushi night in
Had a prefect one night stay at Kofukan. The place is super cosy and the view from the room is spectacular. Loved getting in our complimentary robes and using the Onsen. Both the public and private onsens are tattoo friendly and it was nice to be able to Onsen with my partner in the super affordable private Onsen session. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Japan so far so be sure to add it.
They very friendly and helpful. It felt like one big family.
Wonderful experience staying at this beautiful nostalgic hotel. Excellent location, clean room, delicious food. I cannot thank Daisuke and his family enough for their kind hospitality.
We loved that everything was in the one location and we didn’t have to travel to another place to get to the snowfield. It was also a very family friendly hotel with lots to do even if you weren’t skiing.
The location of the hotel is pretty good with a relatively short walk to the Kumado chair for your days skiing The room was a reasonable size and worked well for our family of 4 (two older teenagers) and the beds were comfortable The onsen is huge and the outdoor bath is one of the best we have seen. Service level by the staff is also fantastic as was the free shuttle to/from Myoko Kogen station.
Perfect blend between practicality and luxury. Everything is high quality and high end without being unnecessarily expensive or over the top. The facilities are amazing and stylish. Family rooms are perfect for infants and toddlers.
The breakfasts were fabulous this property. Every morning, we had a good selection of western and eastern options. Mieko’s pancakes were a real hit with the kids. We loved using the onsen each night. The property offers a free shuttle to and from Myoko Kogen station. We were warmly greeted by Cooper on the first day of our stay at the station. But the real highlight of this property are the staff and customer service. It is a family-run property who care about their guests. We will be back.
the traditional room was spacious, and has a great view of the mountains. you can experience the Japanese lifestyle wearing Yukatas and sleeping on futons which were so comfortable, and you can keep your shoes on all the way to your room. the onsen was great, especially the outside one when it was snowing. the kids had fun in the games room even though it cost me with those skill testers. bars are great too with nice beer on draught.
