Close to yudanaka station - the onsen was jaw dropping at night, and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast course meals a lot. Service was great, and I appreciate the lift to yudanaka station the day we checked out.

Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. The room was amazing, great location, and the private onsen was such a special experience! The hosts were so sweet and went above and beyond! Was a beautiful experience all round

A free shuttle is offered from Yudanaka Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away. Perfect Ryokan with very kind english speaking staff and english instructions everywhere. 10 out of 10

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free pick-up service from Yudanaka Station is provided. Mr. & Mrs. Kobayashi are v hospitable hosts and made the stay v comfortable.

Located in the centre of Shibu hot-spring area and a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station, Sakaeya offers Japanese-style accommodations. Guests can enjoy the on-site indoor/outdoor public hot-spring bath and wear the provided colourful Japanese Yukata robes. You can watch monkeys bathing in hot-spring water at the Snow Monkey Park, a 10-minute drive away. This was a real highlight of our trip and we wish we could have stayed longer! First the area and Ryokan are gorgeous, completely picturesque! Staff are attentive and friendly and make a real effort in English! The food and the rooms were top notch! My wife and I had the best time. Thank you to all the staff who work hard to make Sakaeya what it is! We slept like a baby thanks to the food and onsen and truly hope to be able to come back. Also many thanks for the surprise gift to celebrate our honeymoon

On just a 5-minute drive from Yudanaka Station, Wafu-no-Yado MASUYA features beautiful Japanese-style rooms, hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms boast a private outdoor hot spring bath.

Masuya Wafu no Yado is a 15-minute drive from the Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park, as well as from the Heiwa Kannon (Peace Statue). Zenko-ji Temple is an hour’s drive away. This hotel was the best place I’ve stayed in Yamanouchi! The public onsen was amazing – so relaxing and serene. The staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and made me feel at home. The peaceful atmosphere and great location made it even better. I can’t wait to return – highly recommend!

On just a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Station, the hotel boasts outdoor hot spring baths with mountain views, a spa and a restaurant. 10 out of 10 in everything. The staff were going above and beyond to help you. They took our suitcases near the train station so we don't miss our train. The dinner was one of the best meals we've had in our lives. The baths are actually all natural hot springs. The facilities were exceptionally clean. The view was stunning.

From Tsubakino Hotel it is a 40-minute drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park, as well as to the Hokusai-kan Museum in Obuse Town. Every single thing is wonderful with this hotel! Especially the staff were simply phenomenal. Outstanding food, beautiful scenery and view, 3 min walk to train station, and semi-private, full-service dining. We had a spacious and impeccable room. Not to be missed!
