A Beautiful place and a lovely host. It's really close to the walking trails if you want to reach the summit. You hear nothing but the birds and the flowing river in the morning. You can play around in the river too. Loved it!

The property was in a good location and easy to find. The host was exceptional. Friendly and so helpful with suggestions and ideas of routes and places to visit.

Located an hour away from the metropolitan area, Kensington Resort Chungju branch is a pet friendly resort where you can enjoy a pet vacation with your beloved dog. The location and view of the hotel was amazing but the hotel itself was deplorable. It was old, dirty, smelly and just unclean. We felt so dirty in the room. Everything was dirty and old and should not be used for guests. I’m very disappointed with booking.com and the fake expectations for this place.

The property is situated 1.9 km from Danyang Public Stadium, 3.6 km from Danyang Station and 3.9 km from Mancheonha Skywalk. There is a restaurant serving American cuisine, and free private parking is available. Danyang is a fantastic place - the city of flowers on the shores of a narrow lake. Very walkable, with walking paths across the street that go down to the shore and paths along the street. Sono has a number of hotels in Korea. This is one of the oldest. Our family suite had a kitchenette, with a good size refrigerator and a small 2-burner stovetop. There was a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen and a good size living room with a large couch. The main bedroom had a half bathroom and there was a full bathroom when you entered the suite as well. The second bedroom was ondol style. From the living room and balcony we had great views of the city and the lake. Like the other Sono properties we have stayed at, the rooms are in need of a refresh and renovations. That said, there is a lot to like about this property and the fantastic location: Lots of parking, free A small water park Restaurants in the basement level as well as shops, games, singing rooms for karaoke A fantastic bakery with top quality goods, that offered a big discount after 7pm
