We stayed in 3 hotels in the city and this is the best hotel by far. A great place for children. Highly recommended for those who want to be in a beautiful place in nature and close to all the historical sites. We had a great experience, highly recommend.

Location was well out of the way with an amazing lake within a few minutes walk with trials to walk also bit perfect for Wilpattu national park. Food was really nice and the room had everything you could need.

We left for our safari early so sadly did not get to try breakfast, but were very satisfied by the room, and appreciated the warm reception/ extra care the staff gave to our family! While there was no common space (think motel style rooms that spit out onto a outside porch) we were only there one night and it suited our needs well. The safari company was able to pick us up from this location so all worked well.

Beautiful pool and lovely restaurant with delightful staff. A quiet place for relaxation and luxury.

The room and the food were top class for us. The host and his wife did everything in their power to make our experience even better than we could hope for. We learned how to cook authentic dhal. And then enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal. Free Wifi was included. The bed was so comfy and equipped with a mosquito net, an ac and a fan. We could’ve stayed longer but had to move on.
