The host family were so welcoming and kind, and helped us with planning our holiday, not just in Nuwara Eliya but all over Sri Lanka. The house and room are exactly as described, the bed really comfortable and the shower the best we experienced in our whole trip.

We were greeted by the family. The young man helped carry our bags into the room. He offered us tea and coffee. He was very polite and helpful. He did his job with heart and love. The accommodation is in the mountains at an altitude of about 2000m. In the evenings the temperature drops to about 15C. You need to wear a jacket in the evenings. The locals also wear wool hats. But this is clearly unnecessary. Double fleeces for sleeping in the room. It's good to be able to wear a blouse with longer sleeves if you're afraid of the cold. The room is nice and clean. Comfortable beds. TV in the room. Common dining area for three rooms with fridge. Breakfast was made by the hostess. It was delicious: toast, jam, butter, sausages, fruit, pancakes, jackfruit sauce on bread.

He was as kind as a Japanese worker. The room rate was so low and it was so comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious and large portions. The beautiful and peaceful house is located in the midst of tea plantations. We got to wake up to fresh air and mist in the morning. We were glad to spend 3 nights in the king suite, just doing nothing. The breakfast and dinner were so delicious and generous. The staff service was excellent and treated us like royalty. We had mint tea and milk tea in the afternoons. They arranged a tuktuk to take me to the waterfalls and Nuwara Eliya attractions which were about 1 hr away. Riding through the tea plantations, mountains and waterfalls was one of the best rides in Sri Lanka. Just amazing! Highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Hatton.
