The staff, ***especially Anne (owner) and Amal, were exceptional,they arranged a safari to Yala Block 6 (just 10 mins away!) where we spotted elephants and leopards. The **food was a highlight**: authentic Sri Lankan curries and Western options, all served in an open-air dining area. Don’t miss the **sunset boat ride on the lake**—pure magic! Clean, spacious rooms and a serene pool sealed our perfect stay. We’ll be back!"

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.

Amazing location with easy access to Yala National Park. The surroundings are absolutely stunning — full of natural beauty and peaceful vibes. We stayed two nights at Farm Villa Resort and had an unforgettable experience. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a large balcony and even a private pool! We loved how much space and privacy we had, and the view of the paddy fields was breathtaking. You can even take a walk through the fields — a truly unique experience. The staff were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. One of the best parts of our stay was the full-day safari to Yala Block 5, arranged by the resort. It started early at 5 a.m. with a private guide who helped us spot rare animals and birds. The resort took care of everything — from a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast to a memorable jungle lunch. Everything was perfectly organized for a comfortable and exciting experience. The resort is also great for bird watching and wildlife lovers — even monkeys came to visit us near the villa! The food was another highlight — both breakfast and dinner were full of authentic Sri Lankan flavor. The large swimming pool was clean and perfect for relaxing after a long day. We highly recommend Farm Villa Resort to anyone visiting Kataragama or Yala. This was one of the best stays we’ve had in Sri Lanka — and we will definitely be back!

Situé à Wellawaya, l’hébergement VR Nature Cottage CABANA possède un jardin, une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, un service d'étage et une réception ouverte 24h/24. Ambiance très chaleureuse et familiale. Petite cabane en bois au milieu des rizières, dépaysement total! Le repas du soir est excellent, très varié, tout comme le petit déjeuné qui permet de goûter aux vraies spécialités locales !! Je recommande vivement !

L’établissement Crystal Water Inn se situe à Bibile. Offrant une vue sur le cours d’eau, il possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un jardin avec une terrasse. The guesthouse is in such a beautiful location near forest and paddies and mountains, completely at one with nature. Our host, Charlie, as well as his wife and mother were the most kind and friendly hosts. After learning it was our honeymoon they got us a cake and balloons and candles to celebrate which was so thoughtful of them. The food there was wonderful - all home cooked with homegrown ingredients (you can see where they grow their cinnamon, pepper, vegetables, rice and so much more). Charlie also was an excellent tour guide as well, taking us to a water safari in Gal Oya, and up the nearby mountain (that was so stunning, you definitely should go. There are rice paddies, tea plantations and the most beautiful views in the region). He also took us to a nearby waterfall with natural pools that was stunning, and we were the only ones there. There are so many more things to do, we wished that we could have stayed longer, and would really like to come back. It's such an underrated region but will recommend to everybody to visit. The room itself was lovely and spacious with a separate living area and even a kitchen if we wanted to use it. We also loved the little treehouse to sit and enjoy the view and take in all the sounds of the nature around. Oh, and usually we would expect mosquitos when staying somewhere so rural but there were no mosquitoes at ALL. Neither of us wore repellent and we didn't get a single bite... That is unheard of for us. We recommend this place so highly - stay!

L’établissement White Square Home-stay se trouve à Wellawaya (Monaragala District), à 35 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Pont aux neuf arches de Demodara. The hosts were amazing. So welcoming to our family and open. We had the most incredible dinner and breakfast cooked by them and shared with the two families. We learnt a lot about Sri Lankan culture and would highly recommend other people to stay.

The Den at Yala is a beautiful property with lots of character. The rooms were so clean and spacious. The location is superb close to national park entrance especially if early morning start. Surrounded by nature so you feel when you arrive relaxed. The meals were delicious. Gabrielle and Sanjana the couple who own and run the property were super friendly organised a safari for us. They made our family trip to Sri Lanka very special. Huge thank you from the Hogan family.
