The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Roshan and his family were all incredibly hospitable. The meals were yummy and the bed was very comfortable. Roshan arranged transportation for us to Sigiriya and made the trip memorable by showing us a few sites along the way.

Kitelantis provides lagoon front accommodation in Kalpitiya. Among the various facilities of this property are a water sports facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. Wonderful experience. The staff is so nice, kind and helpful. Perfect location, just in front of the lagoon. Amazing room, beautiful pool with bar, great breakfasts and perfect scenario (with or without kitesurfing)! ❤️ thanks a lot Kitelantis

The location is superb for relaxing at the beachfront. The food was amazing, and breakfast was excellent. The seafood platter for dinner was superb. I highly recommend it for visitors to stay here.

Backwaters was a lovely spot on the doorstep to the western gate of Wilpattu. They organised a game drive for us (where we saw lots), a river trip and boat ride to our next destination. The rooms and grounds are full of nice, environmentally friendly touches, and the meals are great. Since the centre of the park is a little ways from this gate, a full day game drive turned out to be better than a half day - and allowed usto see lots of elephants at the end of the day.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. I can absolutely recommend this place. Shibi, Dinesh & the team make sure that you have everything you need, without being to pushy. I extended my stay, because I felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is great :)
