The resort offers a children's playground. The area is popular for cycling, and car hire is available at Ceylon Resort. Literally everything. From the amazing buffet dinner they prepare for us, til the very uptight safari and guide they have associated with to do the guide safaris in wilpattu national park (btw this guide is the absolute best, incredibly knowledgeable and sweet person, made us see 3 leopards on a bad day...) The rooms are splendid, very nice and comfortable beds, bed sheets made in heaven... and the resort itself is very beautiful and just 10 min walk away from a splendid lake where we can also take a dive. Amazing

From the moment we arrived (really late in the evening) we were looked after extremely well by Manori and her team - they provided very tasty good value meals and organised a reasonably priced safari for us at short notice. The rooms are clean and spacious and the surroundings very nice. Our children enjoyed seeing the monkeys at breakfast and looking out for other wildlife. We were only sad we couldn't stay longer. Would definitely recommend - thank you for a lovely stay!

Both Isuru & Samadhi cook and are highly knowledgeable about the local ingredients and their health benefits, explaining to us the virtues of various plants they grow in their garden. They pride themselves in only cooking with fresh ingredients and no artificial additives. We were even invited into their kitchen to help with the preparation of the dinner! BONUS: Lots of wildlife just at your doorstep: we saw peacocks & other birds, various lizards, deers, water buffalos, etc...just by sitting on the terrace! Also easy access road & ample parking space at the lodge.

Wilds Wilpattu was an incredible stay! Suga the hotel manager is lovely and the team were all really attentive. It is situated right by an entrance to Wilpattu National Park and you feel so connected to the nature. There’s only 3 cabins in the property so you have lots of privacy and they feel really spacious and new. The highlight was the firepit and BBQ organised by the hotel team outdoors under the stars!

The team are all so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. The rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious!! The buffet was so great - all local home made dishes. We had two amazing days on safari which was arranged by the hotel - the food they packed for our trip was also great. To top it all off - I was celebrating my birthday while staying and the team even arranged a surprise cake for me! Thanks so much!!
