We stayed here one night with 2 kids, but we could have stayed a week! The hosts were so welcoming and very friendly, always making sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Also, the food was delicious both at dinner as breakfast. Beds are comfortable with cosy blankets for the colder nights. We will come back!

This guest house is located in the old village of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a sand fortress 30 km from Ouarzazate. You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Location, design, decor, staff! An exceptionally special stay in this historic village. 8 rooms, each unique, each with a view and/or a terrace. Staff very accommodating- it was a very cold spell and they made sure we had heat in our room. Each common room of the hotel was a masterpiece, the cave-like ‘family room’ to the dining area and terraces. Breakfast was also exceptional taste of the region and plentiful. Because it is a UNESCO site there is very limited power. Charging is done in a central area by reception. All lights are out at night to conserve. Knowing this ahead allows you to plan accordingly. Parking for 20 dirhams in someone’s gated yard worked well. Hotel has this dialed in and it’s a good way just be sure you are paying the property owner and not someone on the street acting like it’s theirs. Sunset from the top, sunrise from the eastern knob, or from the hotel terrace.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Heritage House Skoura is a guest house situated in a historic building in Skoura, 700 metres from Kasbah Amridil. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Since our flight was delayed, we came very late to this accomodation, around 1 AM. And even then, our host Solaiman was waiting for us with a warm dinner. He is a great guy and I want to thank him for making our short stay in Skoura very special. The room itself was very clean with fresh towels and working AC. Heritage House has a really nice garden with a lovely terrace, where we had a delicious breakfast. The location is a bit tricky (you go through a really narrow streets if you make a wrong turn), but Soleiman on his bike helped us and accompanied us through the beautiful old Skoura. The stay was short and really special thanks to Solaiman.

At Riad le Petit Jardin, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in African cuisine. This place is gorgeous and the staff super friendly and funny. We didn't give it a 10 only because we found the price a bit on the high side compared to all the other places we stayed at during our 24 days road trip.

At Maison D'hôtes IMINIGRAN & Spa, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and serves Moroccan cuisine. The place is very homely and comfortable. The food is very delicious. I would return to this place if I could!!

The host Aziz was a wonderful host. He took me to the Oasis and Chigaga Erg. He also arranged for my return taxi which was extremely helpfu.l He made my desert adventure a very memorable one. Chef Barack is a very kind person who makes delicious vegan food. I highly recommend this property.
