The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and warm enough during the cold night. The tents are a nice size and the tables and n the couch months area for breakfast and dinner are nicely situated.

Our journey through the desert is an adventure that we never forget. Atmane welcomes us in Foum Zguid from where we enter into the desert. The ride to the Auberge is very beautiful, we make several stops at an oasis, a house of a nomad woman and the Iriki lake which has been filled with water again after years of drought, unbelievable that nature can fill such a large lake in such a short time, very impressive. The auberge offers a fantastic view, good food a very nice atmosphere, in the evening music is made around the campfire, very relaxed and chill. The next day we visit a Tuareg village we see how the families live here and how they provide the village with water from the oasis. We travel further through the varied landscape see dromedaries, and different animals, arrive at a hospitable nomad family for lunch and a nice siesta, what a meeting! A little further on we visit a nomad school, where the children receive lessons in a tent. In the afternoon we arrive at the large sand dunes, particularly beautiful, what a different world when you are standing between the dunes, so phenomenal! The next day we drive back, relaxed by another beautiful route, Atmane stops at various places to show us fossils and tells us about the nature and life in the desert. Thank you very much for the great experience, it was a beautiful meeting and a very warm welcome. We looking forward to a next trip where we travel through the desert with dromedaries for a few days.

Nice property. The accommodations fit very well for our group of seven. We had an area of the hotel with four rooms, adjoining a single shared courtyard. We rolled in during a sandstorm, and then it rained, creating mud. So our stay may have been a bit unusual. The staff was very friendly.

Kasbah Tissint provides the best “hotel space”we’ve selected for our trip through southern Morocco, all the elements for a comfortable resting space are there: a beautifully designed room with beautiful decorative motifs, comfy beds, precise temperature control, hot water shower, Morracan carpets. Public spaces inside and out. Beautiful pool. Mountain and river views. Tasty, well prepared meals. The staff were helpful and welcoming. An “A plus” travel experience which is highly recommended.

Maison d’Hôtes Hiba is located in Foum Zguid, in the desert region of Southern Morocco, 9 km from the Chagaga Dunes. We had a great stay at Riad Hiba. Salima and her brother Fateh were great hosts, the room was very comfortable with air-conditioning, a clean bathroom and a great view over the swimming pool to the hills across the oued. Breakfast was plentiful but the highlights were the dinners, Salima is an excellent cook and prepared for us a massive and delicious tajine and couscous on two separate dinners. We ended up staying a second night due to cancelling a trip to the desert as we arrived right in the middle of a heatwave and we’re glad we did so. Would happily stay again next time we’re in Morocco.

Ali and his family were welcoming and sharing, offering us amazing hospitality. The camp area was a wonderful oasis with a flowing, and swimmable river, complete with various birds, and fresh water fish. It was truly an escape from our travels.
