The place is small but charming. We stayed in the triple room which is located at basement level. However the room was so cozy and comfortable and for a 1 night stay it was perfect. The rooftop pool was beautiful! The check in and out process was super easy and we were able to store our luggage too. The marina was beautiful with plenty of restaurants! I would recommend you take the 3 euro luzzi boat if going to Valletta, Its very quick and convenient and seems the cheapest way to get there.

Birgu is a gem and this apartment is in a perfect location. The apartment is well equipped with everything that you need for a pleasent stay. Easy check in and check out. The apartment was really silent so it was easy to have a nice sleep. This will be my first choice if I plan a trip to Birgu again.

It was a beautifully kept apartment exactly as described with very helpful hosts. They very kindly left some milk and snacks on arrival - milk was much appreciated! Plus, help me find great things to do on a New Year’s Eve. The bed was very comfy and there was a good amount of space including the shower where you could bend down to shave your legs! Added benefit of a study area that I used as a dressing area! Well appointed kitchen! Lovely little street location that was a quick walk to the ferry across to Valletta - only a 10mins walk not as far as google maps say as there is a new foot bridge. Also handily in ground floor so no need to carry a case up the stairs! Very handy electronic key on door so no need to carry a key!

We were able to walk to the apartment from Senglea side but did involve number of stairs. Unit has washer/dryer combo unit which was feature I was specifically looking for. Fairly spacious apartment.

Lovely house, very spacious, comfy, full of character, lots of steps but in keeping with the character of a Maltese house. WiFi worked well. Great communication with information about things going on and around the local area. Great view from the roof terrace. Very well positioned for restaurants on the square and down on the waterfront, as well as the ferry to Valetta. Local shop on next road called Tommy's...has nearly everything you need...a minute walk away. Closes just after midday, but reopens later.

The rooms are all comfortable and it was nice to find a little table and chairs in the courtyard. We visited at the start of January but it was still warm enough to go sit out and look up at the blue sky.
