Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Mulu Marriott Resort as a base to expore Mulu. Staff was super nice, the hotel provides transport to the park office and airport pretty much around the clock. Great to relax by the pool after a hike or get a spa treatment.

Asian and vegetarian breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and juice are available. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which serves Asian cuisine and also offers vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options. Clean, comfortable rooms. I was upgraded and got a private bathroom. Staff were all so warm and welcoming. They were able to help me do laundry with a turn around of about 6 hours. Incredible food, worthy of the stay itself.
