Featuring a bar, The Collector Hotel is located in The Hague in the Zuid-Holland region, 3.3 km from New Babylon and 3.5 km from Madurodam. My husband and I loved this property. The beautiful courtyard location was just lovely. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having a relaxing drink in the lobby and playing one of the many games after a long day of sightseeing. The candy at reception was also a lovely touch.

Hotel Alexander is only 200 metres from the beach in Noordwijk aan Zee. It includes free WiFi and the Alexander Beach Club with a panoramic sea-view terrace. Great location, very helpful and polite staff, beautiful, spacious room. Breakfast was reasonable and had a good spread, and the spa access for the wellness centre nearby was really good. We especially loved the staff, who were always helpful and explained everything in great detail. Loved the place, and definitely would definitely recommend.

It’s worth noting that the hotel sits directly above a popular restaurant. On weekend nights the lively atmosphere downstairs can mean a bit of noise drifting up to the rooms. That said, I never found it unbearable, and the upside is you’re only a flight of stairs away from a tasty dinner or an easy breakfast the next morning. Overall, I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with great access to The Hague and the bonus of on-site dining—just be prepared for a little weekend buzz.
