I appreciated the small fridge in the room, pressure in the shower and how quiet it was at night. I also walked to town and it was easy and fun. There’s a lot to do in this part of the world! The property has sea and mountain views, and is 600 metres from Shelley Beach. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. This might be the nicest place we have stayed since beginning extended travel in retirement. It was a bit more than our budget, but we cooked our dinners to compensate, which worked out well as we really enjoyed being there in the evenings. The photos do a great job of showing the large bedroom, bathroom, and full kitchen. It's decorated like a home rather than a hotel, and has a large deck with a lovely view of the marina. It does take 10-15 minutes to walk into town, depending on your destination, but it's a lovely walk. We were able to arrange a ride into town with our luggage the morning we departed as we had already dropped a car off.

Furneaux Lodge is located in Endeavour Inlet and has a garden and shared lounge. This resort offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. The property features a restaurant.

Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with sea or mountain views. We loved everything about our stay at Lochmara Lodge. We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.

Situated in Waikawa, just 3.5 km from Picton in the Marlborough Sounds, Parklands Marina Holiday Park offers guests access to an outdoor pool, jumping pillow, children's playground with a trampoline. The spacious holiday park is surrounded by plenty of leafy trees and grassy areas and is home to many species of native birds. We have stayed in alot of cabins as we do alot of adventures and this place topped the cake the stay was great super clean!!!! the small cabins were just right for our family of five Other facilities were very clean also. the cleanest holiday park we have ever stayed at in our opinion which was so nice host was also lovely and easy to talk to We will be back!
