The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.

Staff is super friendly. Meals are copious and delicious. The owner, Brian, is the nicest of guys and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as he possibly could. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora: a true community minded ecologist and a lover of good music and excellent cocktail maker to boot.
