I rented a motorbike to use during my stay, and Mich kindly gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. The property is a 5-10 minute ride from the main General Luna area, but I preferred this; it was so peaceful and quiet at the accommodation. They were also working to make the Starlink internet even better during my stay—this made it easier for me to get some work done. There were occasional power outages due to the island-wide power issues, but Casa Basa has a backup generator, so things were restored quickly. Breakfasts and smoothies were delicious, and the adorable dogs were also a big plus for me. It was a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again the next time I come to Siargao! The location on the north side of Camiguin island is close to most major tourist attractions and restaurants. The grounds of the resort are cozy and tropical. The property owner's caretaker, Maureen, was very friendly and helpful. She provided good tips during our stay and was easy to reach whenever needed. I also liked that they have scooters onsite available for rent with good pricing and free filtered water is provided to refill water bottles. I would stay here again.

The owners are incredibly helpful, I was shown all of the surf spots in the north. Barry was very happy to give me all the best spots and showed me where they are on his scooter. It's a comfortable place with a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here!
