I loved the entire experience from start to finish - the glass cabin, the sauna, the cooking area and of course the amazing views. The privacy is fantastic and Hedi and Mats had thought about every creature comfort that you need to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the care and attention to detail in everything. Highly recommended.

Michael is a very nice person who showed around and told about the place history. The house is unique and very beautiful. Regarding the stay everything was perfect and we had everything we needed.

Beautiful excursion destinations are nearby and easily accessible. The landlord also provides bicycles free of charge. A canal cruise on the Dalslands Canal, a trip to the Tresticklan National Park, or a visit to the Elk Park "Dalslands Moose Ranch" in Ed are particularly recommended. We have been here for the second time and will definitely come back.

We felt cared for and received such special service for our entire stay. We loved them! We had the most wonderful time at Håveruds Hotell. We came as guests and we left feeling like they were family and wanted to take them with us back to America. It truly was the most amazing visit during our month in Europe. There were so many ways that this is such an amazing place in Sweden to stay. First, our room with a balcony was overlooking the stunning lake. Relaxing on the deck was so restful and restorative. The chef, Cecilia, was an angel and made the best salads we have eaten with an incredible abundance of shrimp and wild garlic dressing made with local ingredients. Her dinners were carefully crafted and plated with such delicious taste. And, I especially loved her homemade pumpkin seed and sesame seed butter. (She should bottle this and sell it!) Jonas served up the most incredible abundant breakfasts. He was so kind and helpful showing us the property and assisting my mom through the grounds. And, he must have scheduled the sunshine for our entire visit:) But my favorite part was our special surprise sauna celebration. This is not to be missed with a floating sauna heated by a fireplace, right on the water so I could try jumping in! A true Swedish experience! Shestan and Phillipa were angles as well. They took care of our every need and made us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely go back to this gem and hopefully bring our family as well. We did grab a handful of brochures and have handed them out to others. Do not miss this lovely Hotell experience in the most gorgeous setting! After returning home, it shines as a highlight of our most amazing adventure! We miss you all at Haveruds!

A cozy retreat with a heritage look and easy access to the lake side and city center, Amals Stadhotel was a perfect choice for our recent visit to Sweden near Lake Vänern. The hotel's friendly staff and delicious breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it!

Situated in Bengtsfors and only 37 km from Åmål Railwaystation, Ella's House - Central Bengtsfors Stay features accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has quiet street views. Lovely house in a great location! There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement if you need to do your laundry. My personal highlight was the coated pan in the kitchen- the freshly caught fish was wonderful to fry in it. The WiFi didn't work but the owner informed us beforehand that it would be fixed soon.
