The restaurant is fully functional which is rare during low season (most places around the island were closed). Great drinks and food. There are hornbills to be seen there throughout the day. The restaurant is on the beach and the bungalows are right behind it, I think they have beachfront bungalows too which were not operational (due to low season?). My bungalow was very comfortable, rustic but clean, I had no issues with bugs and only a couple mosquitos during my stay - very different from another place I stayed that was more inland and there were more mosquitos... I had only cool shower water and a fan, but honestly these were fine for me. The price of the stay also reflects this and in my opinion is a great deal. There is a shop with a variety of cold drinks, snacks and many useful items just down the main road, easy to walk to. I rented a bicycle nearby but for a short stay you could just walk around - there are beaches within walking distance. To see all the rest of the island I would actually recommend a scooter as the bicycle is quite a workout. A highlight of this place were the staff who were so welcoming and lovely. I would stay again.
