Mount Rushmore National Memorial is 30 minutes’ drive from the motel. Great location and really comfortable room. This was my 8th hotel as part of a long road trip and I had the best nights sleep here so far. The room has heater (which I needed on this unusual cold wet summer day) and a great shower. Parking was right outside of the room and there was coffee available in the mornings with an ice machine outside next to the reception. Bars and restaurants are walking distance, I would recommend Custer wolf - food and drink. I had the best chicken tenders there I’ve ever had an a big selection of craft beers. Tommy the owner was a really friendly guy and it seems everyone knows each other by first name and it was just a great place to chill and meet new people.
