The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, an ATM and organising tours for guests. Mike sam and family were extremely welcoming in their home, and you could tell they put genuine effort into making our stay comfortable and memorable. The tree house is awesome with a great view, the functional toilet is a luxury. Would happily stay for much longer in this beautiful part of Tanna. Nestled into beautiful tropical gardens, 100 metres from pristine coral reef, each private island style bure at White Grass Ocean Resort and Spa has a private terrace with ocean views. The staff were exceptional. All - from senior management downwards. The drivers were particularly good and impressed us with their skills on difficult roads.

Located in Lankourou, Tanna Volcano View Tree House provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant.

Some accommodation includes a balcony with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with shower.

A kids' club is also available for guests at the lodge. I couldn’t wait to write this review as soon as I returned to Sydney. Robort and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me in arranging all my trips, including how to get to the treehouse, transportation to the airport, booking flight tickets, visiting the volcano, and even took me to the celebration. When I didn’t have enough cash to buy a ticket, Robort kindly helped me cover 600 Vatu—I’m truly grateful for that. His daughters were also adorable and guided me through the local tribal culture. They were all very patient. The condition of the treehouse was better than I expected. While it’s inevitable to see some small bugs, I didn’t encounter any rats. The treehouse is located right opposite the entrance to the volcano, just a two-minute walk to the ticket office—very convenient.

Situated in Loanengo, Glowing Mountain view tree house features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. African, American, Argentinian and Belgian dishes are served at the in-house restaurant. The hospitality of Philip, Susan and their sons was absolutely incredible. They were so gracious with their time without being over bearing on your privacy. This is the spot to stay when checking out the volcano side of Tanna. You will have everything you need to see the vanuatu culture from the perfect location. For reasonable rates, the hosts will take care of any other logistic you need. -Set up the 2 hour car ride to and from the airport. -Local recipe dinners by Susan and she’s a great cook. I believe they offered lunch as well but I was going on these great adventures they offer to guide you through: -A local village that will show you dances and rituals of their indigenous culture -A hot spring heated river that flows into the ocean overlooking the volcano -And of course, the hike to the rim of the volcano. I had so much time to chat with the family and they are all so kind. I don’t leave reviews, I was very compelled on this one. Stay in this treehouse. Friendly reminder to grab cash and break it down in Port Vila or at the market in Tanna.

For guests with children, Tanna Lava View Bungalows provides a baby safety gate. If you would like to discover the area, skiing is possible in the surroundings and the accommodation can arrange a ski equipment rental service. Daniel and his wife Chella were incredibly welcoming and lovely, and facilitated all the trips I wanted to do. They had arranged airport transfer and sorted trips to the volcano, giant banyan, Yakel village. The food was amazing and the bungalow was incredibly comfortable with the most beautiful views of the volcano. Loved it so much wish I could’ve stayed longer

Offering a barbecue and a private beach area, Tanna Evergreen Resort & Tours is situated on Tanna Island. The resort has a sun terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the setting lovely. This locally run resort is an unsophisticated comfortable choice conveniently located near to the airport.
