This is one of our best stay ever. the room is beautiful, with a huge terrace and air conditioning was perfectly set for us to feel relaxed and cool.The place is magic, great energy and the owners and the husband of Carmela are really warm, kind, big hearted people. I strongly advise you to buy their Primitivo, one of the best wine we ever drank. And their Peperoni cruschi, which are a specialty of the area and of the home. We will definitely return at Casal Dragone!

johnny so accommodating and helpful. i was traveling alone for family reunion in montiscagliosa. he took me to town and when possible met me in town and i followed him back. i felt safe even though facility was far away from town central. the remoteness of the farm was so charming. but if i didnt have escort not ideal for solo senior traveler. the streets close for the festival of st rocco and i had difficulty returning to hotel during some nights there. pool fantastic in 96 degree temperature.so close to Matera and when festival was over much easier to travel to town central and find parking . You need a car. they even had gluten free bread for me for breakfast and delicious coffee.
