What a dream! I wish we didn’t have to leave. A true sanctuary only minutes from Noto - although you won’t really feel like venturing outside, it is so peaceful and lovely at the hotel. 11/10 recommend, we’ll be back!

Good sicilian breakfast on the terrace by the pool. Helpful charming Sergio and Fabrizio giving recommendation on restaurants and places to visit. Great room with balcony above fabulous pool and surrounding terraces and orange and olive groves.Great location at the foot of Noto and views to Noto which is a feast of restaurants. A very good ristorante opposite the Villa and lunch place down the road casa rosa…great to have a place to relax after busy day and a drink by the pool possible.

An old stone house, a large swimming pool, the roar of cicadas - a place like from a movie. Thanks to the location of the rooms with access to the courtyard, it seems that you have come to visit a large Italian family, who at the same time respect your personal space) A spacious room with a comfortable bed and a large shower room. Wonderfully renovated and kept cozy place with beautiful outdoor spaces. Very friendly and helpful staff. Paulo, in particular, does a wonderful job as a host. Although the beach is not too close, the walk through the citrus grove is very pleasant. I would not hesitate to go again, and can recommend with no caveats.

We stayed at Baglio Calanchi for 6 nights. We truly felt at home due to Giancarlo’s hospitality. Giancarlo gave us lots of recommendations for activities. From Baglio Calanchi, you can (by car) easily discover the provinces Ragusa and Syracuse. We especially liked hiking Cavagrande and hiking Riservata Vindicari. A longer stay like we did (4+ nights) is perfect to explore more than just the typical sights such as Noto and Syracuse. We enjoyed the elaborate breakfasts Giancarlo prepared every morning and a few very romantic dinners he organised for us. A very special experience you’ll probably find nowhere else. Furthermore, the pool area is perfect after a day of visiting towns and hiking. It’s a large pool and it’s relaxed since Baglio Calanchi offers just two guest rooms. All in all, highly recommended! We will definitely come back here if we come back to Sicily someday.
