We had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent hotel at the beginning of October. From the moment we checked in we felt relaxed, the staff (Anna, Estrella and Sandra) were all so warm and friendly and made us feel like part of the family but nothing was too much to ask. The house its self is stunning and decorated very tastefully, so many different rooms for peace and quiet, the pool area is also perfect for a quick refreshing dip and to relax on the loungers. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and healthy and the wine from their vineyard is fantastic. We hope we can stay here again in the future it was truly memorable and one of the highlights of our trip.

Best hospitality experience! Joao and his mother made us feel like we were guests at a friend's house. Communication was great, the hotel is at a very convenient location not far from Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra. The rooms are designed nicely and had everything we needed. We had wine tasting too. Joao nicely explained and answered all our questions. Breakfast was delicious, pancakes were freshly prepared by Paola also we could make tea with the herbs collected from their garden. It was a friend's birthday, and they made a cake for us as a surprise.😍 This place is a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants some tranquility in their life.

Exceptional host in a beautiful historic property owned by the family since the 16th century. Breakfast was superb in stunning surroundings. The town has some great restaurants, we loved Tavola Lagoa in particular. It was wonderful to be shown the property and its history. The owner even arranged a vet appointment for us and came with us. So kind ans it summed up our experience

This place is amazing! It is surrounded by lush gardens and features a beautiful pool. We loved having breakfast with home-made cake delivered to our patio each morning. It’s a quiet, family-run place with a long tradition, and Cecilia the housekeeper is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated thoughtful touches like oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper in the kitchen., and Netflix on the TV. The puppies and cats, the basketball court, and ping-pong table were a hit too. Great location near interesting sites -- a car is a must, but it’s worth it for the comfort and tranquility when you get there.

Quirky little cottage in a great quiet area. The grounds were excellent and would even better in the hot weather. The host was really friendly.

Absolutely loved the stay there! Clean new comfy rooms done in a good taste, superfriendly hosts (that started with great precommunication up until lending an iron on the spot etc) and the rural setting. It felt remote, in the middle of the countryside, but at the same time the lovely Obidos with its bustle was right next door (a very short drive or also a doable walk). We enjoyed the breakfast brought to the door in the morning (what a tasty bread!) and also the pool with views to the valley. The setting of the rooms next to each other but with a joint corridor (and possibility to lock from outside) suited perfectly when travelling with 2 families (incl 4 kids). The dog, sheep, goats and horses were also a big hit :)

Really nice and comfortable place. Welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast really nice. Amazing AC as the weather was almost 40 degrees, and still we had amazing night of sleep.
