Lovely rural location. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent, clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds. Fantastic reception staff, super helpful maintenance and other staff. Lovely grounds and a decent pool. A really lovely place to be. Close to Banyuwangi airport which was why I chose it.

In rural area

A pretty basic room, but a good location for access to Mount Bromo and waterfalls. Nice view of farmland from the terrace, but no proper covered space for dining when it rained (which it did a lot). Food was pretty basic. Eko, our host, was great for organizing our trips and the drivers were really great.

We had a very good time at Pondok Is Oke, the family was very nice with us, they arranged shuttle and Ijen tour for us. The place was clean and comfortable, in the middle of their farm's fields. Breakfast was good. The place relaxing and quiet. I highly recommend this place for a trip to Ijen.

Ijen Miner Homestay has a beautiful location, in the middle of coffee-pantages and little farms. It makes it a interesting place. At the same time, it makes that you are of the grid and a long way from villages. The owner will help you with transport and food.

Considering the rural location, this was a great homestay! It was clean, warm at night and we had hot showers! Furthermore, the host was super nice and very helpful. We were even allowed to stay until 1pm and had a shower after our hikes. We would definitely come back again! Note: The homestay is behind the national park entry - therefore you have to pay the entrance fee to get there - but the driver wish was organised by the homestay gave us a receipt so that we only paid once for the whole stay.

Rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff are super friendly 😀 The reviews weren't kindling about the food. My favourite meals the whole trip!!! The location was out of town so a very relaxed feel in the rice fields and other farms. Absolutely stunning 😍 You can borrow a complementary bike and ride around 🙏 Drinking water is provided where you can fill up your own bottle so less plastic! Also, there's a pool!!

This is the 2nd Snooze property chain we've stayed at after a great experience in Jogja. This one definitely lived up to the expectation. The house felt homey, their staff were super kind and insightful. WiFi worked well and the area was clean. The bed was comfortable as well. The location was not far from anywhere. Definitely will stay in their branch somewhere else
