The room was big, the location was beautiful! The breakfast was simple and delicious, the dining room is just gorgeous and it is available with the kitchen every evening (well equipped). The beds were the best thing :)

The house is very clean and cosy and I loved seeing the horses every day. They even have little memories to take home such as free postcards and horseshoes or handmade sweaters to buy.

Located at the foot of mountains, you can enjoy the impressive view from the room or go hiking for a closer look. The farm house is well located in a beautiful valley just off the ring road, Stefan and his dog greeted us nicely upon arrival, The rooms are nice, comfortable and cozy, the showers are great, kitchen is well equipped and fun to use, you can make do with the other guests, there's a nice yard where you can sit and have an evening beer in front of the amazing view. Travelling as a family with children we were a bit afraid of staying in a place with shared facilities but it was really fine and even a good experience for us all.

Set on a working cow farm, these cottages feature a hot tub, kitchenette and terrace with BBQ facilities. All have picturesque views of Eyjafjöll Mountain. Iceland’s Ring Road is 2 km away. Free WiFi is available. The place is so quiet, no noise, no traffic, in a farm, the kids played with the animals so much. The cottage is perfect, in size, furniture and distribution / separation of the different areas. The hot tub is a big plus, a bit slow to fill of course, but deserves the waiting time. The beds in the smaller bedroom are not huge, but there is an extra bed upstairs if needed. The kitchen has all you need, including microwave and all basic stuff (salt, oil, coffee, etc.). The closest shot is about 30 mins away, either East or West, and there are a few restaurants nearby (a couple just down the road).

The farm stay has family rooms. It’s clean, cozy, warm - and I mean also that the clothes dry out very quickly, which is a good thing, since the weather is so unpredictable on a daily basis. The owners are kind, nice, welcoming. There is free coffee and tea available, they clean the room every 3 days of your stay. The room is just as seen on the photos. Would highly recommend if you can’t find anything around Vík.
