The magnificent garden with view on the river, and swimming pool. The stylish house, authentic and yet functional. The lady of the house, Sylvia, strong, always smiling and caring. Orso, the four legged friend, guarding every movement around. In short, heaven on earth.

Agriturismo Dolceacqua is a restored farmhouse in Cavallino, set between the Adriatic Sea and Venice's lagoon. Surrounded by gardens and fruit trees, it has free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Dolceacqua offers large, air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV, a private bathroom and views of the farmhouse's gardens. During summer, the Agriturismo serves its buffet breakfast outdoors, on the terrace. Breakfast was ok. It had variety but there was no sign of farm sourced items which was the only let down of our stay. Cleanliness gets a full 10 grade from us. Everything was sparkling clean. Overall was a very pleasant stay

At the farm stay, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. Exactly what we needed (safe parking, walking distance to the ferry, cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen). The pleasant birdsong in the morning was an added bonus - it was nice to see this more rural part of the otherwise very touristy peninsula.

I wish we could have stayed longer. Only couple of minutes walk to the beach. Easy access to visit Venice. The house was very clean and sufficient for us five people. The owner was super nice and friendly. Great value! Would definitely come back.
