It is located 150m to Jonker street which is a huge advantage. The property itself is like a museum with so many antiques and rustic deco. Great staff, decent breakfast and good spa. I had an issue with the water pump in room 227. It was late and the staff decided to upgrade me to a better room.

The staff could not be more welcoming. Had many delightful chats with the women on the desk during my stay and have written down several recipes that she shared with me ready to try back at home :) It was very clean throughout the guest house, and I had a rustic but pleasant room. There are snacks to buy, free filtered water to top up your water bottle and a lonely planet with highlights and extra tip annotations which was a nice and useful touch!
