Property was immaculate, room was charming, clean and bed was comfy. Spa and wellness was next level and was amazing. Wife and I could use the saunas, Plunge Pool, and steam rooms (facilities were second to none and it wasn’t overcrowded) We wish we would of stayed longer.

We had a warm welcome and the host (and her husband) were very flexible and kind. The house was spotlessly clean, with a beautiful garden and excellent service. We really appreciated having a private parking space. Our 1 year old absolutely loved the fresh strawberries from the garden, and so did we!

An amazing hotel that exceeded all expectations. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The staff were amazing, the food was incredible (esp breakfast) and the room was very comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Johanna in May for 5 days while attending an event in Karlsruhe. The house had a welcoming entrance with space to remove shoes. It had two levels - downstairs featured a home gym, sauna, rain shower, cold water pipe, and a WC. Outside, the terrace provided breathtaking views of the Black Forest and had a swing to enjoy Bad Herrenalb's beauty. Upstairs, there was a room for two, a bathroom, kitchen, and a spacious living room with a large TV. On the first floor, three rooms accommodated six people, with a gallery area containing an antique desk, a chaise longue, and a balcony. The master bathroom had a large bathtub and a WC. Another stair led to a room under the roof with toys, books, and a balcony. The surroundings were serene, with a nearby river, meadows, and views of the Black Forest. There were convenient dining options, including a tasty Greek restaurant, as well as a supermarket and drugstore nearby. The owners' attention to detail was evident, from the fully equipped kitchen to a set of towels for each guest. The villa was worth the money, exceptionally clean, and provided a relaxing experience. We plan to return next year!

Wonderful spacious one-bedroom apartment (incl. kitchenette) with all the equipment (in brand new condition) you can think of. Very nicely decorated. Washing machine and dryer available in the hallway for use together with one other apartment. Very quiet. Outside terrace overlooking the village and Black Forest hills. Excellent wifi.

This accommodation is set in scenic countryside in Geroldsau, the gateway to the Black Forest. The charming and country-style Gästehaus der Geroldsauer Mühle is just 3 km from Baden-Baden.
