a beautiful well appointed cottage. tastefully furnished and everything we needed. we were welcomed with a cake, tea, coffee and milk. The heating was on and it felt very homely when we arrived.

Lovely lodge, fantastic hot tub, used every night! Loved the fact when we got there, there was a loaf of bread, milk, tea and coffee, cookies for us. Enough cleaning things for us to not have brought any with us. Very thoughtful and very handy :D Children loved playing on the Xbox too, worms was a hit!

The house was beautiful with lots of original features. Really well equipped with good quality items. Warm and cosy on a cold weekend. Kim was really helpful. Walks directly from the house. We have already booked it for another weekend.

A beautiful area, quiet location in the centre of a farm. The lambs in June were a lovely surprise to watch the other side of the fence. The host who lived 100m away and the immediate neighbour were very friendly and welcoming. Despite it being June, the central heating on the first night was very welcome. Thereafter, I found it easy to turn off when the temperature outside suddenly rose. The kitchen and electrics were very good. The coffee machine with pods were a welcome surprise. Plenty of unobtrusive parking space. I loved watching the house martins in the morning that were nesting under the eaves. For those that love history and countryside walks, there were loads to get involved in. The local town was very interesting and the market had stalls filled with local or homemade produce. It was lovely to come "home" to a comfortable sofa, a TV (for the sport) and relax looking out to the views.

Beds are not comfortable at all. Unable to sleep every night. Kitchen is ok. TV location discourage us to watch tv. Dining table discourage us to eat together. Towels are ok, but no face towel at all. No shower gel or shampoo. So bring yours.
