The hotel is pretty much new. Clean and good looking design, a great outdoor pool and all the employees were very nice. After reading previous reviews I can say that they have corrected pretty much all the issues from earlier reviews. Very good buffet breakfast. Due to the hotel being full we we're upgraded to a suite with private heated pool. Great experience, would repeat.

The location of Asterion Suites & Spa is very special and really a small paradise in Crete. The personell is super friendly and absolutely professional. The manager George is a very special character that made the stay a real perfection. We had a suite with a private pool and everything there was first class, super clean, excellently equipped and stood out all expectations. The cuisine is first class too. And finally every staff member was super friendly, the pool bar is superior and the personell there is extra ordinary and the close distance to the sea is just all in all a fantastic place and we will certainly come back.

Exceptional Hotel Experience! We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The structure itself is great, with beautiful, well-maintained facilities that make it a pleasure to spend time in. The location is also excellent. The real highlight, though, is the food: Every meal over the past week has been a memorable experience, with exceptional variety and meticulous attention to detail in each dish. Every bite, from savory dishes to desserts, feels special. And speaking of desserts—they’re absolutely incredible, as tempting as they are delicious. I’ve never seen anything like this in any other hotel. The breakfast was also really good, offering a wide selection that catered to every taste. I highly recommend booking the half board as we did, you won’t find a restaurant better than this! What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention of the staff from start to finish. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. Can’t recommend it enough! I rarely return to the same place twice, but here, I may rethink my rule. Thank you!

I had a great stay at Solimar.. the place is clean, the food is good, and the location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. 1 thing that really stood out was the friendly and professional staff many of them were Albanian😁😁😁and it felt amazing to see how hardworking and welcoming they were. From check-in to check-out, our experience at the Avra Imperial Hotel was absolutely amazing. We stayed here for only three nights, but we enjoyed every moment. Our initial booking was a Deluxe room with a shared pool, but during check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Deluxe suite with a private pool. Our room was excellent, featuring two bathrooms, an amazing private pool, a coffee maker, a fully stocked mini bar, and a comfortable bed. One of the highlights of our stay was the buffet breakfast and lunch. The variety of meals offered was impressive, ranging from different kinds of seafood and meat to fresh fruits, salads, and a wide selection of desserts. We believe everyone will find something to suit their taste here. The hotel also boasts three different restaurants, and one night we decided to dine at the Mediterranean restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the dinner was delicious. We also enjoyed spending time in the common swimming pool area, which was not only beautiful but also well-maintained. The overall service quality at the hotel was excellent. All the employees were service-oriented, polite, and always willing to provide recommendations and cater to our interests as guests. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone, and we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to visit Avra Imperial Hotel again in the near future.
