the resort is on the beach which is private and quiet. the management setup our table for supper on the cliff overlooking the beach. the food was great.

The heritage atmosphere was welcoming and takes you back in time , traditional tea time where tea and snack are complementary. Games room a bonus also the drink bar area good to relax and have a beer. Size of rooms are excellent, reception area very photogenic. Good choice of food in buffet area .

The property is situated in a residential area a bit outside of Trivananthapuram but is still well connected to the city. The house is surrounded by a large garden where John, the owner, grows his own fruits and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the fresh coconuts and the home-made chutney I got for breakfast. The room is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail, and the whole house is very clean. I felt very comfortable throughout my whole stay. John is an excellent host who truly cares about the wellbeing of his clients. He is super forthcoming with any information you may need and helps where he can. That made me feel completely safe as a female solo traveler during my whole stay at White Butterfly.
