Easy taxi ride from Kawaguchiko train station; hotel provides a free pickup upon arrival. Without luggage, one can easily bike between the hotel and the train station. Within walking distance (just walk over the Kawaguchiko Bridge) to Ubuyagasaki Shrine which is a top venue to watch the Fuji Mountain during sunrise. Room: Comfortable and luxurious; newly remodeled with modern facilities yet preserves the traditional Japanese onsen styles. Particularly impressed by the bathroom, indoor bath, and the private outdoor hot tub! Privacy: This onsen pays great attention to offering privacy to guests. View was amazing. Loved the bath. House was very spacious and luxurious. Service was fantastic. Toiletries were generous and we were extremely grateful for the child specific items. Chicken sukiyaki dinner was delicious and we were very impressed with the selection of drinks in the fridge.

I had hot spring onsen in my room. The taiko performance was so good. The hot spring bath in the top floor with views to mount Fuji at the dawn was definitely a highlight in my trip.

We didn't understand it from the booking but it's a full house rental. Amazing traditional Japanese house with a view on Mt.Fuji. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The owner was not present at check-in but replied to questions really quickly over messages.
