The resort is gorgeous, the garden is beautiful, nicely maintained, with many pools (all with warm water) and also the beach is very nice (no big waves so you can enjoy swimming). Steambath was great in the shower. The staff was very kind and professional, we got a free upgrade upon arrival to the best room of the resort with a great view and a private pool. There was unlimited water supply in the room. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices and very delicious. There is a beautiful view on the ocean from the restaurant and bar.

This is by far the best stays I have ever had. We were a party of four (two couples) and had opted for the sea facing family villa which huge and private. The beach, the cliff and the pool- everything was picture perfect. A special call out to the exceptional staff who made our stay so comfortable- Housekeeping: Hemantha/ Damith Butlers: Sandun/ Deen/ Praneeth Kitchen: Shan/ Kaveen Front Office: Tharaka If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, romantic and luxurious stay by the ocean I would highly recommend this place.

Loved staying here. It ticked every box. Imke and Shannon were the most welcoming hosts, giving lots of info on what to do etc in the local area - also nice to just hang out and "chew the fat" ( British term to converse)- new friends who I hope to see again on my next trip. I personally don't surf but it didn`t matter as Horizon Inn caters for all. The room was spacious with fresh laundry and room cleaned everyday. Breakfasts and dinners on request were superb! Location wise, 30min walk(or 6 min tutktuk) from the hustle and bustle of Weligama and 5 minute walk to jungle beach. It`s a chilled spot away from party vibes of Ahangama etc. and a real place to take things easy. Definitely recommend staying here. Matt

Absolutely amazing hotel – 10/10! We stayed for a week and were beyond impressed. The hotel is stunning, the staff is incredibly kind and truly attentive, and the food is outstanding. We ended up eating on-site several times because it was just that good. The entire property has everything you need for a perfect stay. I saw some negative reviews before coming, but honestly, we didn’t experience anything like that – everything exceeded our expectations. A special highlight: my girlfriend had her birthday during our stay, and the staff made it unforgettable. They surprised her with a homemade cake at breakfast (brought out with music by the kitchen team!), and later, the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, towel art, and more. It was truly touching. Can’t recommend this place enough – we would definitely come back!

    The staff are amazing and do everything possible to help guests. The restaurant is superb with many food options from the west, Sri Lanka, India and Asia. The chefs are happy to prepare requests too which is amazing! The hotel manager, Iresh, is great and goes above and beyond to deal with any issues that arise. The live music in Tides bar was wonderful and the rooms are just beautiful with great bathrooms and views!
