Five-Star Hotels in Siquijor

After two years living in the Philippines, without hesitation, we can say that Cocogrove is our favorite place. Firstly, and most importantly, because for many years the hotel and its management have been proactively protecting the environment, including the coral reefs at two marine sanctuaries in front of the hotel and in Apo island ( one of the best places to respectfully interact with turtles) . Secondly, the hotel offers high quality while maintaining a traditional and beautiful Filipino style, giving us a sense of tranquility even when the hotel was fully booked. No bath soap / shower gel

Whoa! This hotel exceeded my expectations on so many levels. Everything is brand new and pristine clean - like 15/10, and while showers in Philippines look very funny sometimes, this hotel did it just right! The rooms are so comfortable and good looking, and suitable for highly sensitive people too! If you really want a comfy and visually pleasing experience with plenty of room and the best sleep, I recommend the studio room upstairs - if you don’t care about visuals and just want the best sleep, the more basic rooms are fine as well! I will never forget how warm, helpful and lovely the staff were… I felt like home… And the location is the best: decent private beach just under the hotel, and a beautiful snorkelling sanctuary with turtles right next to the hotel… There is plenty of very good restaurants in a walking distance from this hotel, and it’s very easy to get a tuktuk here if you just get on the street and wave at a driver. It’s very easy to get to places from here even if you don’t have a driver’s licence. I will never ever forget this, and would definetly love to return - and I really know of good hotels let me tell you… I could keep on writing…
