I would rate LUX Saint Gilles Resort to 20 points if it would be possible. Very relaxed, quiet, enjoyable place with very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and a very good location. Many thanks for the excellent musical entertainment in the evenings. We got into a medical emergency situation during our stay and all members of the staff were very helpful and supportive. We are especially grateful to the director of the resort, Mr. Patrice Hudebine and Ms. Julie Hauer, guest relations manager for their kindness and extraordinary help. We recommend LUX full heartedly for all who are looking for enjoyable relaxation in Reunion.

In regards to our stay, we liked the staff, always smiling and willing to help. We liked our greating with the ice-tea and the fact that one staff walked us to our room. The food and cocktails were delightful! The room that we had was fantastic, amenities were great, the view was spectacular of the ocean, beautiful garden, swimming pool was a wonder, plus we had our own private pool which was lovely:)

A great place at Saint Gilles. Fully equipped, clean and very spacious. The Consierge is very helpful including the possibility of doing the early check-in. The terrace is amazing however the roof of next building is a bit destroying the ocean view, especially from the pool. Shops and restaurants in a 5–10 mins walking distance. Unfortunately, on both sides of the building there are ongoing construction works - it makes noise from early morning. I know the owner has no impact on it and it is temporary but if somebody wants to sleep in the morning it can be a challenge. The access to the villa is very steep so if renting a car good to take it into consideration. Overall, it was a very nice stay with some small issues mentioned above.
