Located in the very center of Franshoek. Our room was facing the Mainstreet but the insulation is good and you will not hear it. The staff is very friendly, the rooms clean and the breakfast is awesome!

wow, i didn't think an apartment stay could be so wonderful! The apartments vig, very comfortable, well equipped, and waking distance to all you need. The hosts were friendly and kept you super informed on loadshedding, etc. If I come back to Franschoek, I will stay here again with out a doubt!

We booked a luxury suite as we were dining in Franschhoek for our 16th wedding anniversary. Could not possibly have made a better choice - the staff were so friendly and even tipped my husband off ahead of time to arrange beautiful roses for me on arrival (he admiitted this - they didn't take credit!). The staircase to our room was also scattered with flower petals - just lovely. Best stocked minibar I've ever found with enough milk and coffee - so many venues are stingy with these small things when they make all the difference. Even a full DSTV bouquet. Everything was top quality, beautifully tasteful, and finished off with the perfect breakfast. Thank you for an unforgettable night in your wonderful establishment. We'll be back!

There aren't enough words to describe what a little slice of heaven the Last Word is. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Conrad and his team were so welcoming and attentive to all our needs. They were helpful and informative, giving you advice on things to do but also space to explore. The attention to detail is unmatched. Small gestures such as a thoughtful dessert on your bed at the end of the day, were just some of the ways they made our stay special. The facilities are luxurious, the location is perfect for exploring Franschhoek on foot. The only negative feeling we had during our entire stay was having to leave. Would recommend 100 times over. Thank you!

Very welcoming staff especially Max the manager. Nothing too much trouble and really a home from home. We wished we had booked to stay longer and Franshoek in general is a delightful place.

Thank you for a lovely couple of days. The food, the views, the grounds... all amazing. But the staff really make this place special! They were all exceptional.
