Wonderful understated service. The hotel is central. It is close to the hop on, hop off sightseeing bus, the free shuttles for the suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain, and rental bikes for biking to Stanley Park and back. We felt like we had arrived home at the end of each day.

We loved the traditional feel of the hotel - classic style and excellent hospitality. All the staff were excellent - either well recruited or well trained or both. They went out of their way to accommodate us at all interactions - from arrival to check in and in the dining areas. The light meals in the downstairs were excellent and the staff there were some of the best we have encountered.

They had everything needed to make you feel like you are on vacation. The location was great too. I love how much essentials were available in the room. The room felt like a villa. The front staff was very friendly too. I had an amazing stay there.
