I really made the right choice with this homestay in Pingyao! The location is absolutely a hidden gem—just a two-minute walk gets you to Rishengchang Bank, so there’s no need to get up early to soak in the Jin merchant culture. It’s super convenient to head back for a break after visiting the attractions. What’s more, the surrounding area is bustling with life. When you stroll out in the evening, the lanterns light up, and old shops and street food stalls are right in front of you, full of that lively, authentic vibe. No need to hunt for places to eat; just step into any spot, and it’s sure to be delicious. The biggest surprise, though, is the service here—they truly take care of every little detail. When I checked in, the owner warmly introduced local attractions, even telling me which shop has the most authentic Pingyao beef and the best time to visit Rishengchang to avoid crowds. That kind of thoughtful care makes the whole trip feel so warm. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to Pingyao. Great location, amazing atmosphere, and service that’s second to none—highly recommended!

The property is non-smoking and is set 200 metres from Ji's Old Residence. Super excellent hotel in Pingyao old town. Staffs are so friendly and provide us a lot of help. Hotel is newly renovated, clean and comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and next time will definitely come back.

The structure is in the heart of the city, and has an enchanting internal cloister. The rooms are large and equipped with every comfort. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. We felt at home and really appreciated the owner's hospitality and friendliness. We will definitely return.

Staff very friendly and helpfull.

The 25-storey building boasts an indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre, 5 dining options and luxurious accommodation with free internet access. Beautiful and clean room with lots of amenities. The view is amazing and close to a mall with good food options. Also cute market nearby :) Very good option to stay!
