Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making it easy to visit Ambleside, Brockhole, Wray Castle and Lakeside without a car. 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

Linthwaite House offers luxurious accommodation, with stylish, individually designed bedrooms and bathrooms. Many overlook the lake and manicured gardens as well as the surrounding hills and mountains. Very friendly staff, top service. Perfect for holiday with family, and they offer perfect food!

The bar and lounge area have been upgraded and decorated with a contemporary style, and the gardens were re-landscaped to include a Victorian style gazebo. The Roundthorn has been awarded a 5-star VisitEngland Guest Accommodation rating, and a Gold Award. It was exceptionally clean and had a nice view of the city. It was really lovely and the staff were really nice.

All of the beautiful en suite rooms feature luxurious Egyptian cotton linen and sleek bathrooms with power showers. Applegarth Villa Hotel & Restaurant (Adult Only) rooms have free bottled water and digital radios. I like the layout and decoration of the room and hotel, which is very elegant.

This 5-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and free WiFi. The property is allergy-free and is set 10 km from Buttermere. Amazing location, very comfortable room. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and near to the edge of The Lake District, The Bull Hotel is a 17th-century coaching inn. It offers hearty, fresh food in its restaurant, and free Wi-Fi.

Each light and cosily furnished room includes a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Guests can relax in the room with a TV, and free tea and coffee. This was my third stay at The Black Bull. It was my best stay yet. Special thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Laura for going above and beyond. I can't wait to come back to visit again.
