Situated in Edinburgh's West End, The Bonham Hotel is a Victorian town house. Majority of the bedrooms have a city view. Shops and restaurants on Princess Street, Calton Hill, Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and EICC are all within walking distance. Best breakfast. Staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Emily, who made us look forward to every breakfast. They provided daily cleaning. Sparkling clean areas and sit out rooms, bar. We had really good feelings here, and the location was approximate to every key place. The room was equipped with every amenities you can think of, including the very basic ones. We are definitely coming back soon.

Its oak-panelled bistro serves fresh, Scottish cuisine and over 300 wines. We had a great stay -- the hotel is rather unique in that it's actually several townhouses that are connected and then redone as rooms. Our room was delightfully decorated fitting of the boutique hotel status, with a huge bathroom and large, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were communicative and helpful, both before our stay, messaging over booking.com, at reception, and while there. We were celebrating a special occasion, and had a nice surprise welcoming us in the room, which we appreciated. We also ordered room service from the restaurant (always a nice treat at hotels that offer it) and this hit the spot -- there was good variety, the food was high quality, and the ambiance and experience quickly made us feel at home. Lastly, it was our first time in Glasgow and as travelers without a car, we weren't quite sure where to stay. This spot worked out quite well -- the area is nice, and the university area (around Byres road), with more shops and cafes and such, is just a 10 minute walk, or a shorter bus ride. The bus stop is also right outside and very convenient, and that or the train provide quick transit access through the city. Overall, this worked out very well for us -- we had comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and great service. Would recommend to others.

The property is allergy-free and is set 300 metres from Edinburgh Playhouse. Room was very spacious and super comfy , we only stayed a single night, but would definitly have stayed longer. Staff was amazing and very welcoming, would highly recommend.
