The reception team and all the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful at every stage. The valet service and partnership with a parking facility is a huge advantage in a city like Thessaloniki, where parking is limited. This is definitely a place I will return to.

Ping pong, table football, a basketball hoop, gym, computer game area, working space, and many other activities, 10 minutes walk from the restaurant district. I like when we were greeted at the front door with staff members and they took care of our luggage and took the time to talk to us about the Hitel and our stay.

The Excelsior - Small Luxury Hotels of the World is Thessaloniki’s one and only member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, located right at the heart of Thessaloniki. Free WiFi is available throughout. The guy at the reception was so welcoming. He even gave us a really good room upgrade option which we gladly accepted. The room was facing the main street but it was so quiet. Also, you had the impression that they had a limited choice at the buffet breakfast, but, they also presented us with a menu of things you could order. The menu was rich and food was delicious. Greatly recommend the hotel.
