Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama is the official hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort, located on the eastern side of Tokyo Bay, just 20 minutes by train from Tokyo Station.

It features all-day dining, outdoor parking, a Disney shop, luggage storage space, free Wi-Fi throughout the property and a currency exchange machine. Great clean hotel with friendly staff. I had a good stay. There is a coin laundry room open 24/7, which was good to have.

Ideally set in the Mihama Ward district of Chiba, Hotel Springs Makuhari Premier is situated 15 km from Shopping Mall SHOPS, 16 km from Chiba Museum of Science and Industry and 16 km from Ichikawa City Museum of Literature. Featuring a shared lounge, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.6 km from Makuhari Beach. I checked in quite late night but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very polite. The room was clean and the bathroom and the toilet is separated. The bathroom was the Japanese style. The location is right in front of the train station but it’s not noisy at all. Just be careful that you have to go to the other part of hotel to check in if you arrived after 9pm (forgot exactly the time). You can walk around outside to get to the other part of the hotel or you can go up floor 3 and take a bridge to get to the other side. The breakfast is good.

Situated a 4-minute walk from Chiba Minato train station, Hotel Port Plaza Chiba features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Narita International Airport is 70-minutes away via monorail and an express train ride. Tokyo Disney Resort is a 34-minute express train ride from Chiba Minato train station. The location was perfect for traveling with the train and busses.

Designed like a luxury cruise liner, Café Toastina serves aromatic coffee and pastries. The hotel also offers Japanese cuisine at Asuka, grilled teppanyaki specialities at Maihama and an international menu at Grand Cafe. The hotel was spacious and well-equipped, with great family-friendly facilities like a play area and pool. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent for visiting Tokyo Disney Resort. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. I recommend choosing the Park View room if you’re staying with a large family—it has four beds, which is very convenient. A big plus is the gift shop with Disney goodies, perfect if you want to buy a Mickey ear headband before entering the park or grab some gifts before you leave. There’s also a pharmacy on-site, which is very handy.

Located within a 5-minute walking distance from JR Kaihinmakuhari Train Station, Hotel New Otani Makuhari offers guests the luxury of choosing from 10 restaurants to dine at and a variety of outdoor and indoor activities. The hotel is situated just next to the Makuhari Messe and the Tokyo Disney Resort is a 20-minute train ride away. Nice location ! BIG room, clean ! all staff are nice !

Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa offers 5-star accommodation with a sauna and spa centre. The rooms were very clean and modern. Really enjoyed the onsen as well. The iced tea, amazake, and other beverages in the lounge after the bath were wonderful.

Decorated in cool, calm tones, rooms at the Narita Airport Hilton offer views of fields and forests. Guests can try on the Japanese-style bathrobe and enjoy video-on-demand movies on the flat-screen TV. Certain rooms allow guests to stay with small pets at this hotel. Check in was easy. Staff was great. Room was perfect. Food was wonderful. This was one of the nicest airport hotels I have ever stayed in and I highly recommend it.
