The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

You can see three mountain ranges. One cannot believe that one is only one hour away from Kandy. Then the staff, was extremely helpful, especially the restaurant staff. I will specially like to pick out Namal. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was cooked properly as my wife had a bad stomach.

All room categories are available on a full-board basis. Beautiful and serene location, perfect to disconnect and recharge. I was traveling with my husband and we live in a big city so it was a perfect escape for both of us. We enjoyed yoga, nature walk which is included in the room rate. The food was absolutely outstanding, including taste and plate presentation. Every staff member is exceptional. We travel a lot and have stayed in many 5* properties but this was one of our favorite ones.

Very friendly staff that go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and looked after. The pool is amazing and looks out onto the valley. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kandy, and is worth travelling to Kandy for!
