The **raindrop shower** was another highlight, featuring excellent water pressure and unlimited hot water—perfect for a relaxing start to our day. Speaking of mornings, the **breakfast at the hotel restaurant** was delightful, offering a variety of delicious options that fueled our adventures in San Cristóbal. Overall, the combination of the staff's warmth and the hotel's charm made our visit special, and we will certainly return on our next trip! Having NFL RedZone was a huge bonus for me during American football season.

Big room in a beautifully decorated hotel. The breakfast is also one of the highlights in a proper restaurant serving actual dishes. The hotel is also about a 5 minutes walk away from the city center. We arrived late and couldn't speak Spanish, so one of the hotel employees even joined us in the car to guide us to the hotel parking lot.

The restaurant at the Hotel Villa Mercedes Palenque serves traditional Mexican food. There is also a poolside bar with a terrace, loungers and hammocks. Everything. It was beautifully landscaped , the rooms were situated for privacy, and the pool was absolutely stunning, especially with the lighting at night. It was definitely one of the most attractive resort-like places we’ve stayed at. It was immaculately clean. Top marks to the hard-working cleaners.

Family of 6 arrived for a one night stay to the hotel to go to the waterpark next door for Saturday and Sunday. Arrived early to take advantage of water park hours. Check in was easy and clerk was friendly. We had a family room (Room No. 5) which was actually a casita with a full kitchen, A/C in both bedrooms and lots of space, which was fantastic. Beds were a little hard for our liking. TVs in both rooms were huge, but not smartTVs. Internet worked well as did the mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. When you stay at the hotel it included the waterpark entrance which was about $10 USD per person so good value. Hotel also provided a hot breakfast with good service. We would definitely return. Most important for us was that the hotel was clean, nobody got sick from the food, rooms were cold and parents had some privacy.
